Tools for Language and Communication is a speech and language pathology practice founded in 2002. Offering both individual and group speech intervention for children and adults, TLC fosters a warm, friendly environment in our Armonk, NY location. Both assessment
and therapy are provided in our office, as well as observations/consultations within a child’s school.

Our highly experienced team offers expertise in articulation, language, oral motor/motor planning, voice, and written language. Each client’s treatment program is tailored to his/her unique needs. We carefully plan programs for our children, educating parents and caregivers in order to facilitate understanding and coordinate efforts, so that optimal results may be achieved. Parents are a vital component in their child’s therapy process and we maintain an “open door” policy during sessions, continuous program review, and contact with other professionals such as teachers, psychologists, behavioral
therapists, audiologists, and evaluators as needed.

Our group language sessions, led by specially trained speech/language pathologists, consist of carefully matched dyads and triads
of children who may have similar needs, but also complement each other therapeutically. Some groups target improving pragmatic language skills, while other groups target specific language or articulation skills in a fun and motivating environment.
